NEVER AGAIN

I stayed here at the Wyndham Orlando in May 2009 and the only positive thing I have to say about it is its location...The pictures are very deceiving upon our arrival we were excited that it was so close to the attractions on International Drive. However once we got to the room which was pretty much a motel style facility we were displeased. The room instantly felt musty and moist. We cranked up the AC which did not help much. We did not even want to sleep in the bed because of the smell and the moldy feel. I would not reccomend this hotel to anyone! Extremely disappointed!!

We got to Orlando early and needed a one night stay till our hotel was ready. We found this one, we had the two queen beds room. Upon arriving we found the room clean and neat. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was clean. The pool was nice and had lots of chairs. This hotel is on a busy road, so you have lots of restaurants within walking distance. That is very good because driving around on this road is nerve racking. We would stay again!

My husband and I had a 3 day vacation planned but left running for our lives after several hours. The room had a severe mold problem that we thought was making us sick. We spent the first few hours on the hotel's computer trying to find another hotel with no success. So we changed our flights to leave the very next morning. Mind you we are still in the lobby the entire time because we could not breath or stop sneezing. We arrived at the hotel at 11AM and went back to the airport at 2:30 AM to sleep there until our new flight left at 7:55 AM. Right before check out I found several animal hairs on my purse from the short time in the room. Turns out that the previous guest had dogs in there. We are both allergic.

We stay here every year and always enjoy it. Mainly for the beautiful grounds and the pools. The fitness center with sauna and steam room and the 24 hour pools are the reasons we come back. The hotel itself is a little outdated. Bedding is absolutely wonderful but rooms could use fridges and microwaves. Just having the refrigerator would be a huge bonus. The staff is friendly and helpful. They gave us late checkout and a fitness center key so we could use the pool and get changed before leaving for the airport and that was much appreciated.......unfortunately the key didn't work and we had to get someone to give us access! The one area they could use improvement in is their internet access. $* a day and then it wouldn't work anyway. Wasted a lot of time and had to wait for the techs to try and fix it.....that didn't work either. The gladly refunded my money but they should have free internet like most good hotels offer nowadays. You can go to the pool bar and get free internet access there but who wants to have to drag their laptop to the pool all the time? All in all though, we love the Wyndham and enjoy relaxing there every year. Definitely would recommend it.

I really liked this hotel. The staff was very accommodating. I asked for a nonsmoking room, but when we walked into the room, it smelled like smoke. I went to the front desk and asked for another room. The guy at the counter apologized several times and gave us another room. The only negative I can think of is a lack of wall outlets or maybe it seemed like there wasn't enough because I had my 3 teenage girls with me.
